Yermasoyia is a coastal municipality situated in the southern part of Cyprus (Limassol district). The first traces of Yermasoyia can be found on the 12th century. The Municipality itself was founded in 1994. The town has a population of 9,000 and its economy is mainly based on the tourism sector. Yermasoyia has been working on European projects. Yermasoyia is currently twinned with 2 municipalities. We are interested in new partnerships for European projects.
Possible themes for cooperation
Annual activities: The annual spring flower festival “Anthesteria” takes place in Yermasoyia. The central parking lot of the municipality is converted into a flower show. A flower parade also takes place on the beach road.
