Lapithos is one of the nine Municipalities of Cyprus that are under Turkish occupation since 1974. It has a long history dating back to the 10th century B.C. The Municipality itself was founded in 1878. Lapithos has participated to European projects as partner, mainly in the area of culture. We are interested in new partnerships as well as participating in projects on the theme of culture.
