Geroskipou is a coastal municipality situated in the western part of Cyprus (Pafos district). It has a long history. The various treasures troves, prove that Geroskipou been at least inhabited, from the middle of the second millennium B.C. (Afterwards Epoch of Copper). The Municipality itself was founded in 1994. The town has a population of 7,000 and its economy is mainly based on the Tourism, Commerce and Services sectors. Geroskipou has been working on European projects. Our Municipality is well known for the production of “Loukoumi” (delights), as well as for the church of St. Paraskevi (built in the 9th century). Geroskipou is member to the following Afrodite thematic network. We are interested in new partnerships.
